If you are finding that your fridge has water building in the base, this can indicate that the drain behind the vege crisper has become blocked/frozen over. This is easy to fix by following the below steps:
1. Try to dislodge any food blockage by pushing a piece of thin wire or similar through the drain.
2. If unable to unblock, the drain may have frozen over, you will need to manually defrost the fridge for 6-12 hours.
(Empty food into a chilly bin, turn fridge off at wall, place towels on floor, and between doors to allow the ice to melt quickly)
To ensure the blockage has been cleared, please check that the run-off moisture drains into the drip tray at the back of the fridge - the compressor heat will then evaporate the moisture.
