Spin-only cycle
The “Spin” program is a short cycle (approx 10-12mins)
It is designed mainly for draining residual water and giving a short spin.
Depending on load balance, water left in the drum, or program logic, the machine may not always ramp up to full spin speed.
The manual notes that the washer has an automatic balance detection system: if clothes are unevenly distributed, it may either extend the cycle or run at a much lower spin speed to avoid damage
Result: Sometimes this “spin only” option won’t fully spin out the clothes.
Rinse & Spin cycle
The “Rinse/Spin” program is a full cycle that adds water, rinses, drains, and then spins.
Because it introduces a rinse phase, the machine can redistribute and re-balance the load before spinning at full speed
That’s why your clothes spin out properly on this cycle but not always on the short spin-only program.
What you can do
If using Spin only:
Make sure the load is balanced (redistribute items inside the drum).
Avoid single heavy items (e.g., one towel or blanket). Add a couple of lighter items to balance.
If the machine still skips spin, use Rinse & Spin - it’s normal behaviour for these models.

If neither cycle spins properly, then you may be looking at a mechanical issue, but if Rinse & Spin works, this points more to program logic / load balance detection rather than a fault.
