If your washing machine is not holding any water and is siphoning the water straight out this is often due to the drain hose not being high enough/above the water level of the machine. Please see the diagram below for guidelines regarding the height of the drain hose:
If your drain hose is this high and is still draining water straight out, please make sure that the hose is not pushed too far into the drain, if it is sitting in the water of the drain you will see your machine siphon the water straight to the drain.
