If you are having trouble with your Midea P12 Flex Vacuum turning off after 10 seconds when in use, this is often due to a blockage in the metal extension tube and/or flexi elbow.  Please try the following troubleshooting advice:

  1. Check and clean the removable filter by running water (no detergents) and allowing this to dry overnight.
  2. Try to use the vacuum without the head, metal tube, and with a different head, with filter removed to determine if there may be a blockage that needs to be cleared.
  3. A long thin object such as a hose is good for checking for obstructions in the tube.
  4. Try fully charging the battery or swapping to a fully charged battery and testing it with no attachments.
